44-Piece Dinner Service by ANC Royale Limoges: “British Country” Pattern. This 44-piece set consists of twelve place settings and eight serving pieces. Each place setting consists of a dinner plate, a bread plate, and a salad bowl. Serving pieces consist of a soup tureen, a covered vegetable bowl, two serving platters, a deep serving dish, two shallow serving dishes, and a gravy boat. The British Country pattern is decorated with polychrome ducks and gray & taupe leaves on a white ground. Marked on their undersides with the Ancienne Manufacture Royal Limoge (ANC) decorating logo and “Deco British Country/Promenade des Etangs/de Bloomingdale.” Bernardaud et Cie purchased ANC Royale Limoges in 1986 and it became a decorating studio using blanks from Bernardaud. The British Country pattern was produced during 1991-1992 and is now discontinued.
