Framed Japanese Porcelain Imari Plaque by Fukagawa, Blue Mystique Orchids. This framed Japanese Imari porcelain plaque depicts clusters of orchid blossoms of the blue mystique variety against a dark blue trellis with gilt highlights Marked in Japanese script on the front. Plaque is recessed in raffia fabric border. Impressed on its underside with the Fukagawa mountain logo above a silver and blue foil label reading “Fukagawa Porcelain/Arita Japan/Purveyor to the Imperial Household.” Plaque is easily removable from its gilt-toned wooden frame.
