An art-deco style Italian vase hand painted with a palette of bold and bright contrasting polychrome and stylized images of trees, limbs, and a house against a white ground with overhead clouds. Although this vase is Italian, its design is in the art deco manner characteristic of the “Bizarre Ware” of English ceramicist Clarice Cliff. Black tapered neck and square black base. Foil sticker reads “Made in Italy.” Comes with informational hang tag. 20th Century.
