Item Description

Italian Fall-Front Butler’s Chest by Carpanelli. Inlaid floral marquetry. Hinged fall-front configuration converts the unit into a Secretary with a writing surface and nine small storage compartments, drawers, or pigeonholes. Two large drawers at bottom of unit. Label on back reads “Carpanelli,” “desio,” and “Made in Italy.” The Carpanelli logo appears in marquetry on top surface when desk is fully opened. Late 20th Century (1980-2000).
