These gold tone cone-shaped earrings are decorated with five adjacent and graduated clusters of tiny clear crystals. Henkel & Grosse’s jewelry was produced with clear and colored rhinestones, aurora borealis, faux pearls, lapis, and other stones. Inscribed “Grosse” on the gold plated base metal of each clip. “Grosse” is the mark which has been used by the firm Henkel & Grosse of Pforzheim, Germany since 1938. This firm evolved into one of the major haute couture designers/manufacturers for Christian Dior and for other high end names such as Schiaparelli, Jeanne Lanvin, and Givinchy. These retro style earrings are unused as they were housed in storage for many years.
