A Reverse-Decorated French Verre Églomisé Table Lamp. Produced by Laque Line in Bourgoin-Jalolieu, France. These gilt-speckled and bulbous-shaped art-glass table lamps were produced by the eglomasation process of reverse painting, internal sealing, and external lacquering. The original Laque Line label is affixed to their undersides and reads “Piecé unique réalisée á la main/Made in France.” The factory mark consisting of two overlapping “L’s” is lightly sandblasted adjacent to the label. Brown colored leaf-decorated octagonal shaped silk-like shades with fringes at top and bottom. European-wired.
