Item Description

Three-Piece Japanese Tea Set by Fukagawa. Three pieces in set consist of a creamer, lidded sugar bowl, and lidded teapot. Polychrome decoration in gilt, blue, green, and white florals. Each piece sits on three gilt feet. The silver and blue Fukagawa foil label reading “Fukagawa/Porcelain/Arita/Japan/Purveryor to the Imperial Household” affixed to the teapot. Japanese script in raised blue characters on the underside of each lid. The Fukagawa mountain in blue on the underside of the creamer. Old new stock
