Vogue Bijoux Butterfly Necklace. This necklace consists of alternating segments of gilt-metal chains and black vitro-resin beads designed to simulate onyx. Decorated with a large crystal-studded figural butterfly with three conforming black beads affixed to its body. A gilt-metal clasp is etched “Vogue Bijou” and an attached hang-tag reads “voguiebijou/made in italy “ Vogue Bijoux, known for their beaded and pearl designs, was particularly fashionable during the 1950’s and was produced by this Italian firm throughout the 1990’s.
